Iggy Ioppe
Chief Investment Officer, Theo MBA, Harvard Business School
Iggy co-founded Location Labs and sold it to AVG, then ran a long-short proprietary trading group of more than a billion dollars at Credit Suisse. He went on to co-found Sureview Capital, a global hedge fund sponsored by Blackstone, and most recently co-led Polygon Ventures. He began his investing career at Bain Capital.
He was an early investor in Theo through his family office before joining the company, which connects blockchain-based capital to global financial markets. His work there concerns the mechanics of finance: settlement that still takes days, and access to investment still bounded by geography, intermediaries, and account minimums. He argues that the question underneath is who capital markets are built to serve.
